This course is for Authorised Persons working with high and low voltage distribution equipment on MOD estates who require an update.

This course is for engineering staff working with high and low voltage distribution equipment on MOD estates who have been nominated to the role of Authorised Person.

This course is for managers and supervisory staff responsible for managing health and safety relating to high voltage distribution equipment in healthcare premises. Learners must have a firm understanding of basic electrical principles and theory prior to attending this course.

This high voltage training course is for High Voltage Authorised Persons with responsibility for the application, commissioning or maintenance of electrical protective equipment used on high voltage electrical systems. Through a mix of practical exercises and classroom theory at our training centre, we will provide you with theoretical and practical instruction on high voltage equipment protection systems utilising electronic, microprocessor and electro-mechanical devices.

This course is for those who are required to access to switchrooms and substations for work such as checking emergency lighting, servicing, pest control non electrical maintenance or assisting contractors.

The course builds upon previous training experience and updates you with recent changes in the field and current case studies. Prior knowledge and training is essential.

This course is for electrical engineering staff nominated to the role of Authorised Person (HV) in the commercial sector. Learners must have a firm understanding of basic electrical principles and theory prior to attending this course.

This course is for electricians and electrical technicians who carry out remedial work following reactive maintenance and alterations, or additions to existing electrical circuits. It will also be of interest to the supervisors of electrical operatives.

This course is for engineers and apprentices who are new to basic electrical testing and fault finding.

This course is for non-electrical staff required to work on and around electrical machines and equipment. Learners must be able to demonstrate adequate knowledge of BS 7671 prior to attending the course.

The course builds upon previous training experience and updates you with recent changes in the field and current case studies. Prior knowledge and training is essential.

This course is aimed for electrically experienced technicians and engineers, who are working towards being considered for appointment as an Authorised Person (LV) in accordance with the formal appointment process in the HTM 06-02.
