Aim
To enable attendees to gain a thorough understanding of the Health Technical Memorandum guidance and how this relates to the provision and operation of safe and suitable healthcare premises.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this course you will be able to:
- State how the HTM suite of documents relates to the provision and operation of safe and suitable healthcare premises
- Outline the purpose of the HTM series of guidance documents and how HTMs relate to legislative requirements
- List the designated roles in relation to the professional management structure as defined in HTM 00
- Outline the responsibilities each of the designated roles across the suite of HTMs to provide clear understanding of the functions of these roles and the responsibilities the roles carry in relation to the HTM's.
- Identify the operational, maintenance, testing & monitoring requirements for each of the supporting HTM documents.
