Description

Aim

To allow learners to carry out a full range of activities relating to medical gas alarm systems without the need to use specialist contractors.

Objectives

By the end of the course, you will be able to:

  • Identify hazards of medical gases, electricity and the necessary precautions
  • Identify and select the components which make up a medical gas alarm system

Additional information

It is essential that learners have a knowledge of medical gas pipeline systems and plants, either through relevant workplace experience or by having completed an accredited Authorised Person or Competent Person MGPS course.
